Zoe is making progress everyday. At 7 months she claps her hands and waves hello/goodbye. Her most used 'words' are boof and dada.

This past week Eva was at home sick with the stomach flu. Five days straight with Zoe and she has really started to act the part of big sister. She kisses and hugs her spontaneously now and talks to her instead of worrying whether she'll touch her toys. Zoe is and always has been enamored of Eva. She laughs at anything remotely funny her big sister does and is all smiles when she sees Eva at her bedside each morning. 

These pictures are of us celebrating Zoe's 7 month birthday 2 days late and simultaneously her first day of using the highchair tray...baby steps.

Sisters...With time Eva grows more aware of her sister's presence in our family and Zoe is coming into her own. Eva refuses to share any of her toys with Zoe for the moment, but there is an undeniable connection between them that time will define and enrich.

This week Zoe clapped her hands for the first time and Eva learned the words: spettacolare, windshield wipers and tergicristallo.
